About Us

At Hammond Design, we're not just another pretty space. Our clients are busy people and want a home that makes them feel good. They also don't have the time or patience to take on a remodeling or redecorating project on their own. We help our clients navigate the overwhelming process of a redesign by listening carefully and working collaboratively to fulfill our clients' taste and lifestyle wishes. When the project is complete, our clients have a graceful, cohesive place to share with friends and family.

Our award-winning residential interior design work has been featured on the pages of Design New England, Boston Globe Magazine, HGTV's House Hunters Renovation, The Wall Street Journal, and Houzz. We have completed projects throughout the Greater Boston area, Cape Cod, the Islands, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Current projects include whole-home renovations in Arlington & Lexington, new home construction in Arlington, kitchen projects in Burlington & Watertown, a kitchen and master bath renovation in Needham, a kids' bathroom renovation in Newton, and a condo renovation on Boston's Beacon Hill. Melissa is also a member of the Designer On Call program for 2018 at the Boston Design Center. We are active memebrs of several local trade organizations including ASID, NARI, BRAGB, and NKBA. We are thrilled to announce our recent Silver Award at the Annual NARI CotY awards for our Boston condo renovation!
